Maddie's X-mas Party

Maddie had lots of fun making a gingerbread house with gramma and poppie. She was very happy to show them off to everyone in class. The kids made the houses, passed out gifts, ate food and then did a little program.

Tooth #5

Katie lost tooth #5 today. Her and Maddie were playing and Maddie hit her head into Katie lose tooth. It fell right out. The worst part was that there was a lot of bleeding. Katie can not stand blood. The bleeding stopped after awhile and all was forgotten. I think there are no other lose teeth. We will have to wait and see!

Friday Fill-in

1. Snow is beautiful as all as you don't have to drive in it.
2. I'm looking forward to the birth of baby Ben.

4. One of my favorite old TV shows is Gilmore Girls.
5. I'm done with most of my x-mas shopping.
6. The most enjoyable thing around the holidays is being with friends and family.

And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to watching Ghost Whispers and eating Dutch Apple Pie, tomorrow my plans include finishing putting x-mas decoration up, wrapping gifts, cleaning downstairs, doing some shopping and a list of other things and Sunday, I want to finish all home made gifts, and relaxing a bit!

Working Computer!

As some of you may of heard my computer has been giving me a hard time for over a couple of months. At first it would only work if you pushed on the power cable. Then it only worked when the screen was facing up and my foot was against the power cord. Then it would only work for a couple of minutes at a time. Then it wouldn't do anything. Tony took it a part and tried to put a new power jack in, but it would not go in all the way. People said you can't take laptops apart and then put them back together. After a lot of thought and praying he got a different soddering (unsure of spelling) gun from a guy at work and the piece went in. He had to put it back together two or three times. The mouse wouldn't work the first time. While for now we have a laptop again and I can get back to blogging. Lets hope and pray that it keeps working for a long, long time.

Day Late Friday Fill-in

1. My stomach is moving around.
2. Stuffing is what I ate the most of on Thursday.
3. The yard is full on kid toys.
4. With family is where I'd rather be at any given time.
5. The smell of cinnamon reminds me of Christmas.

Tooth #4

Katie lost tooth #4 last night. It was holding on by a thread and I pulled it out. She can't stand the blood but got over it after some crying. The Tooth Fairy gave her four quarter. I can't believe that she has lost four teeth already. It is funny to watch her chew.

We had a fun time at the museum for their Eerie Express. The girls did a walk thru the spook house. They got some candy, a toothbrush and coupons for Chick fil-A.

What a Day!

Today was one of those days. The girls are full of energy and I am beyond tired. Katie is pushing every button and bossing Maddie around at ever chance. Maddie is asking a thousand questions and wants your attention all the time. The whining is hitting new heights. To give you an idea of the day I had, I choose to go to a Homeowners Assoc. Meeting to get out of my house. Tomorrow hopefully will be a better day:)

Boo at the Zoo

We went to Boo at the Zoo last week. The girls had a great time. Maddie dressed up as a Ladybug. Katie went as herself. They gave out a free kids meal at Bob Evans and Texas Roadhouse, a wooden spider kit from Home Depot, and some candy. The zoo also had a tent with a jumpy house, pumpkin bowling and a maze. The weather was perfect to walk around and check out all the decorations.

The girls got to cut two pumpkins each. At Gramma and Poppie's they made pumpkin people. Maddie at first wouldn't even touch a seed. Katie loved to play with the insides.

Katie and Maddie each took a picture in a pumpkin for their first Halloween. Baby #3 is going to need a big pumpkin at ten months old.

Tooth #3

Katie lost another tooth this afternoon, it was the front bottom. I can't believe she has lost three teeth. The top front tooth is loose too. I wonder when that one will fall out.

Katie's Lost Her 2nd Tooth!

Katie lost another tooth on Sunday. We were in the car on the way to the Dairy Farm and she was screaming that her tooth was bleeding. After a sucker and some tissue it stopped. About ten minutes later she yells, "Here it is!" We are wondering what she was talking about. She had wiggled her tooth right out. She has lost a top and a bottom tooth now. There are two more teeth that are almost ready to fall out. The tooth fairy brought her a gray and white crystal shaped like a heart, next time she gets a dollar.

Katie had the dentist on Monday. I think it was worse for me then her. She had to get two fillings and a crown. I don't know what else to do for her and those teeth. We brush twice a day, use a fluoride rinse and the blue stuff to show the dirty spots. She drinks little juice and loves water and milk. She never drank in bed. I guess she will have teeth like mine. She has sworn off candy and any thing sweet, and has followed thru for the last three days. She loves showing everyone her silver crown. Thank goodness it is on a molar in back. She has four loss teeth, and six coming in. She has been grumpy, I hope that is the reason why and it will end soon:)

The Apple Orchard!

On Saturday, we all went to Anderson Orchard for my Birthday. They were having a craft fair and food. We walked up and down way to many paths. I must of tried 4 or 5 different kinds on apples. My favorite was the Winesap, Maddie likes the Golden Delicious and Katie likes the Red Delicious. We came home with two bags of apples for $7. It was well worth all the walking.

Maddie Loves Dance!

Maddie loves going to dance. She would wear her leotard everyday if she could. I can't wait to see her at the Dance Recital in December. The video is from her third class. She tells me that she needs to practice so she knows all the moves. So Cute! I wish I put her in the summer dance, because she is so in to it. I will keep everyone updated with videos when I can. The voices are all the moms taking about how cute their kids are.

Wishing!

The girls are wishing for cooler weather. They have been playing winter games and wearing their snow clothes. They have pretend snowball fights and use their blankets as sleds. Maddie can't wait to throw a pretend snowball at the baby.

I would like the weather to be in the 60-70 range. I am soooo ready for fall!
