Maddie's First Day of K-4

Maddie started K-4 today. She had Fruity Pebbles and chocolate milk for breakfast. She is not an early breakfast fan so that was even hard. I think she took two bites. Maddie picked out her own outfit and shoes. They both have a polka dot pattern. She has wanted two weeks to wear this outfit for the 1st Day of School. Her teacher's name is Mrs. Gregory. I am the Room Mom for the class she is so excited. She goes from 8:30 to 12, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. As soon as the kids got there today they started on a worksheet. I hope she has a fun day!

Katie's 1st Day of First Grade!

The bus is here! The kids have assigned seats. Katie got on with a kiss and a wave goodbye.

To see her get on the bus makes me realize how grown-up she is. I can't believe how quick the time has gone. Not to long ago she was just hanging out with mom.

Katie and Tony tubing at the Candos house. She couldn't get enough. She would of rode all day long. Maybe she will ride solo next year.

I look at all the pictures of you and I am amazed at how much you have grown. You will be going to 1st Grade. You are little Miss Independent. Each day bring a new adventure. I love you because of who you are. I wish you many years of happiness, joy and so much more.
