Museum Fun!

Just another day at the museum. They have a Curious George exhibit now, I think it is their favorite. Every so many months the museum has a new kids exhibit; Clifford, Mazes, Winter Wonderland and now George. Katie and Maddie would of played there forever. Today was the last day of our membership, which I think we have truly gotten our moneys worth. Next time we go we need to renew so we can go and go and go again. If you are ever in town you can go too. The last picture has our friend Ellie in it. Ellie is our museum, zoo and whatever else we can drag her and her mom to friend. Katie and Maddie love hanging out with her. Katie was entertaining her baby sister at lunch and whenever else she could.

One more thing, the new episode of Lost is on soon. I hope it is a good one.

Sad day at the Kaz house!

Today our pet Hammie has gone up to heaven. We made him a nice bed with pictures. Katie used her Cinderella puzzle box has his bed. We have to wait until it gets warmer to bury him in the yard. Katie is sad because she loved him. He will be missed.

Maddie loves him and will miss him too.

My day!

I have been going back and forth trying to decide on a name for the team. Finally, I have decided on Rays of Hope. I am registered and looking for friends to walk with me. I am hoping to make this an annually weekend for me and my friends to get together and make a difference. So mark your calendar, save the date, tell the husband and come join me.
My head is spinning because I am so full of ideas and plans.
My thought this year is to do things above and beyond me. I want to make a different. Being a mom is a great job but I feel like I don't get any rewards, today. I just hope that they grow up good, strong and independent. So that is where I got the idea that I would like to take on small volunteer jobs, moms club, Internet groups, welcome committee and now the Relay. I want to be someone besides a mom. I want to be needed! I want to make a difference!!!

Relay!

I am getting closer to forming my team for Relay. I have a great mom that wants to be the co-leader. I also have three great friends that have volunteered to walk and help raise money. I am so excited, I don't know where to start. I need to find more people to walk and people and business to make donations. So if anyone I know wants to do one of those or both. Give me a call. Tomorrow after I have craft and story time at the house I need to set up my Relay site. I am trying to decide on a team name which I have changed a couple of times in my head. Some of my ideas are Rays of Sunshine, Rising Sun, Circle of Friends and Cherished Times. If you like one of those please tell me.

They keep growing!

I was putting on a old pair of Maddie's pants and saw that they looked like floods.
So then I decided to measure both girls. Maddie has grown 2 and a half inches and Katie has grown 1 and a half inches. They are growing so fast.
Maddie has been using the potty for most of the day. She has been doing this for the past couple of weeks. I can't wait until she decides to use the potty all the time. We are letting her go at her own pass. Which is a slow process.
Our crazy week starts again tomorrow. Who thought preschool could cause such havoc to one's schedule.

Relay for Life!

Today, I made the decision to have a team for the Relay for Life. With that decision I need to ask friends, family and others to support me, join me and help me reach my goal. I want to look beyond myself and help others, so please help me. There is so much to do by June 7th. My first goal is to form a team. My second goal is to plan with my team and set our goals as a team. I will keep everyone posted on my progress.
