We want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year! With the craziness of life I haven't gotten my x-mas cards done yet. I think they are now New Year's cards, maybe even Valentine's. (HAHAHA) I wish I could do it today, but I have 5 calendar, 5 hand print frames, 4 picture frames, fudge, rice krispies, gift wrapping, 2 scarves, cleaning and whatever else comes my way. I also want to take the kids to the Children's Museum. I know I am crazy!
On Sunday we went to the Eiteljorg Museum for their Train exhibit. Tony's work sponsored it. They made the landscape our of bark and wood. The details were great. After that were headed to the Indy Zoo for their X-mas lights. They did a really good job. The kids had more fun playing in the snow then looking at lights. 
Maddie was sooo cute at her dance recital on Friday. She danced to I'm a Little Eskimo.
This morning was our 1st sticking snow. The kids couldn't get enough of it. Ben loves playing in it. His hands were glowing red because he didn't want his gloves on. Once we got to the bus stop he changed his mind. Katie got on the bus and Maddie and Ben come in for some hot chocolate. I had some more real cute pictures of Ben but they won't load:(

Maddie and Ben were busy making goodies for Thanksgiving. We had to have brownies, cookies and fudge. It is so hard to keep little fingers out of the batter.
What do you think of Ben's little smile face. Whenever the camera comes out Ben makes that face. It will make for some interesting Christmas pictures.
The Indiana State Museum had a Day of the Dead event. They had story tellers, crafts, dancers and so much more. The kiddos had a great time! Katie can't get enough of this museum. The museum also had an exhibit about the plastic reef. It was all made by crocheting. It was super cool.
Today would of then Donna Jean's Birthday. Katie had this great idea. She wanted to sing Happy Birthday and then send balloons with a card up to heaven for Donna Jean. She also sent her favorite hair bow. Ben's balloon went up and he wanted it back. He didn't understand that is was not coming back. The girls made some really cute cards and were very happy to see their balloons go up to heaven. Now we are having pizza and a cake.
I took Ben for Fall Pictures today. He is such a ham! The girls took pictures at school, so I felt Ben needed some too. He has grown so much. 
Yesterday was Katie's 7 th Birthday. It was also her Golden Birthday which makes it an extra special Birthday. I can't believe that seven years have already passed. Katie will be starting Second Grade this year. She is going to do Gymnastics and Girl Scouts this year. She loves to read and reads a lot to Ben and Maddie. Katie is so grown-up. When I need a helper she is pretty quick to lend a hand. Telling and writing stories are a big part of her day. A week doesn't go by that she doesn't want to write a story about something that she has done or would like to do. Katie also loves to hang out with her friends. Katie asked to do the museum and the fair for her birthday. So we went to the member night at the museum on Friday and then we went to the Indiana State Fair on Saturday. The kiddos and Tony rode a lot of rides. We had snow cones, ice cream, lemon shake-up, cotton candy and corn dogs. There was some much food to try. It was hot! In the evening we had some friends over to play and have cake. I have more pictures but they are on m cell or mom's camera. Gramma MeMe, Poppie and Furby come on Friday afternoon to help celebrate. We also went for Chinese, which is everyone favorite place to go. There was a stop at Half Price Books and the Dollar Tree. Being the Birthday person gets you a whole weekend of fun. Today was a pj day for the kiddos. Gramma and Poppie hung around to play with the kid which they kids love more then anything. Tony and I went out for lunch, to Kohl's and then to Lowe's to look for a BBQ. Thank you Mom and Dad!!!
