Craft Fun!!!

Hereare  some craft projects that I wanted to work on for Christmas. I made the candle green for St. Patty's Day. The wreaths are to brighten up the door area. I decided to take a bunch of shiny glass balls and out them in wine glasses, vases and margarita glasses. It makes the house look pretty. I wish I bought red and green ones to decorate for other holidays. All projects were under 5 dollars.

Happy 100 day!

Today was the 100th day of school. That means that we only have 80 more days to go.

More Snow

Ben loves to watch the snow fall. He had me open the window so he could feel the snow on the ledge. The girls had Ballet that evening and boy was it cold. I really am done with the freezing wind. The wind went right thru you. We only got a dusting of snow but the roads were icy until the snow. Got to love the winter:( At least it looks pretty.

Playing with my toys!

 Ben loves all of his new toys. I love the dancing truck. He also got a VReader and loves it. It is a great toys. He takes it everywhere. If you have a three year old go out and buy one. The stories keep his attention and most of the games he can play by himself. The age is 3 to 8 for the books. Maddie also likes to play with it. Ben is also having a great time playing with all his trains. There are tracks all over the Family Room. The girls play with his toys as much as he does. Ben also got Moon Dough, which is a big hit. I love it because it doesn't stick to his clothes, vaccums up easily and he plays with it for at least 30 minutes. Thank you, everyone for the great presents and for being part of Ben's special days.

Ben Birthday Fun

We celebrated Ben's Third Birthday at Gramma and  couldn't get the kids to take a good picture. I also brought a camera with a dead battery, so I only got these pictures. Hopefully I can get someone to give me their pictures. It was great seeing friends and family. Ben picked Kung Fu Panda as his theme which amazed me. I thought he was going to go Cars, Toy Story or Diego. Silly Me!

Fun in the Snow!!

While at Gramma and Poppie's we got to play in the snow. The snow was not good for packing but it was fun to play in.

Where has the time gone?

I can't believe that the holidays are over. Where has the year gone? Oddly, I am kind of happy. I usually want to leave the decorations up forever. This year I couldn't wait to put the stuff away. I did leave out the snowman stuff. We will see how long that will last. The craziness of the holidays is never missed. I hate all the driving and the unknown weather. We are always hoping for the weather to be kind, the same goes for Jan., Feb., and March. Snow can just sneak up on you. Sometime it is nice coming but icky going back and vica verse. We pack the regular stuff and then all the snow gear. I swear we are going skiing instead of visiting family. I would like Christmas 2012 to be the year of the homemade. I love to give gifts that remind of the person. gifts that mean something. I hate giving Gift Cards. If I give one I like to add a gift that is more personal. So if you receive a gift and wonder why, it is because it reminds me of you. I better get started on those gifts or I will be doing that last minute crazy scramble. A lot of friends and family have gotten scarves. Now I need to learn how to make hats, maybe socks. Wish me luck!

Craft Project #1

This is a project that I did in December. It is a Christmas Spider. I love the story "Legend of the Christmas Spider." I was hoping to make one for everyone for Christmas but it didn't work out. Hopefully next year!

More Birthday Fun!

Ben chose to go to Chuck E. Cheese for his Birthday. He loves that place. Look at the silly faces on my little man. We had pancakes on his birthday for breakfast. I put whipped cream, a cherry and a candle on top. He loved it!

Happy 3rd Birthday Ben!

 Here are some pictures of our baby Ben. Where has the time gone? He has grown so much. Each day he learns new things. He started Preschool and rides the big bus. He has done art classes, tumbling and many library classes. Ben can now say at least 20 words that others can understand. He loves his friend Reed, watching Toy Story and playing with cars, trains, building and paints. He loves going to the zoo, Chuck E. Cheese and the museum. His buddies are also Poppie and Furby. His favorite foods are chicken nuggets, hot dogs, pizza, oranges, Popsicles and carrots. He loves to play outside and in the pool. He still takes naps and sleeps in the car. Ben we love you. Have a Great Birthday, buddy.
