2011/2012 is almost over!

 I can't believe that the kids only have 4 days of school left. Summer starts on Friday and ends on August 2nd. We have 10 weeks to have all the fun we can. What are you doing this summer? We are doing to the camper, MI, WI,  Girl Scout Camp, Bethesda VBS, the Palos Fest, the zoo, the museum, friends are visiting, and who knows what else.

Mother/Daughter Dinner

On Saturday we went to a Mother/Daughter Dinner at my parent's church. It was great hanging with the girls. The are growing up tobe such ladies. Ben stayed home with Poppie and Daddy. Happy Mother's Day!

Nana's is 96!

On Friday we celebrated Nana's 96th Birtday. She is doing pretty well. Everyone went to the Nursing Home to celebrate.  Happy Birthday Nana!

2012 Ballet Recital!

This year the girls were in the same recital. They looked so cute. Sadly, Ben fell asleep at the second song and the girls were #22. I am not sure if they well be doing ballet next year. They are thinking abut horse back ridng lessons instead.

Father/Daughter Dance 2012

Katie and Maddie got all dressed up for the Father/Daughter Dance at the High School. They even picked out their own clothes and accessories. Katie put on perfume. Maddie asked if daddy would smell good for their dance together. Not sure what that was about?!? Ben put socks on his hands so he had gloves like Maddie. They both had a corsage, which I forgot to take a close-up picture of. I hope they are having a great time. Ben and I played some Wii and now we are watching Diego and eating popcorn. I will post how the dance was tomorrow.

 are simple and add some much color to a room. I think I found my next gift idea.

Nice Weather!

 The weather here has been pretty good. It was very hard to get the kids to come in and do homework. The black dog belongs to our neighbor. The girls love to play with it. Ben is not a big fan. We decided that we are painting the jeep and big wheel red so Ben isn't riding around in a girlie mobile.
