On Saturday we went apple and raspberry picking at Anderson Orchard with my mom. There were about ten different kinds of apples that were ready for harvest. We tried each one and picked at least 6 of each kind. We marched down to the raspberry bushes hoping to pick at least 20 berries. They had thousands! We picked a lot and ate a lot. The girls played at the park. We also bought pears and eggplant. I hope to make stuffed eggplant, apple chunk cake, applesauce, and who knows what else. Ben got a small apple and loved playing with it. He also loved the fresh apples and pears. Hopefully we will be able to go back for some more apples.

I love that place. We will be at the Apple Festival this year!
Is Anderson Orchard actually in Anderson, or is it somewhere nearby? Drop me an email--we're hoping to take the girls to an orchard this weekend, and if I can get raspberries too, sign me up! :)
